TuneIn removes thousands of Radio Stations – listen Contemporary Jazz Club through other channels

On Friday April 29, TuneIn removed thousands of Radio Stations from Belgium-based radio streaming provider Radionomy. Also Contemporary Jazz Club uses the service and infrastructure of Radionomy for broadcasting. The take-down from TuneIn was a direct result of the lawsuit between Radionomy and Sony Music. Sony had filed a suit against Radionomy in the US District Court of San Francisco for non-payment of music royalties in the US, whereas Radionomy claims that royalties are being rightfully paid through SABAM in Belgium. For the last couple of weeks, TuneIn had been sending take down notices on behalf of Sony to individual radio stations along Radionomy’s network. It seems that the pressure from Sony was enough for TuneIn to take this action.

Listeners can still access Contemporary Jazz Club on TuneIn or on any other player, by manually adding the following URL http://listen.radionomy.com/contemporaryjazzclub.m3u

On PCs and Mac, we recommend using iTunes or the player on our website.

On mobile devices, we recommend our dedicated Contemporary Jazz Club App, or the app from Radio.net

On Sonos go to “Add music services”, add Radionomy  and search for Contemporary Jazz Club.
